Houserules
- Van der Valk Hotel Veenendaal (further referred to as Hotel Veenendaal) has expressed in a number of house rules what is expected of visitors within Hotel Veenendaal and what you can expect from us. When entering Hotel Veenendaal, the house rules of Hotel Veenendaal also apply and you agree to the house rules drawn up as below.
- All instructions from employees on behalf of Hotel Veenendaal that are related to the house rules must be followed immediately.
- Within Hotel Veenendaal we appreciate that you use the public areas, but this is done at your own risk.
- At Hotel Veenendaal we treat each other with respect and it is therefore forbidden to utter insults or make discriminatory remarks and it is forbidden to sexually intimidate our guests and employees by word or gesture (action).
- To maintain the peace in the immediate vicinity of Hotel Veenendaal, it is not allowed to cause noise nuisance.
- Hotel Veenendaal must comply with the requirements of the Liquor and Catering Legislation, alcoholic beverages are therefore not provided to visitors under the age of 18. When in doubt about the age of a visitor, employees of Hotel Veenendaal will ask you to show proof of identity.
- In order not to negatively influence the atmosphere during the stay, no alcohol will be served to the person in question if drunkenness is suspected.
- During your presence you use property of Hotel Veenendaal and third parties, it is prohibited to commit theft or vandalism.
- In order to maintain peace, order and safety within Hotel Veenendaal, it is prohibited to use violence or threaten violence.
- In order to offer you and your family, friends and acquaintances a pleasant stay, it is prohibited to possess, use or trade (soft) drugs (including laughing gas) or weapons.
- Hotel Veenendaal does not make its location available for purposes other than those set out in our policy. It is therefore forbidden to trade goods, to heal or to offer services (prostitution). If this is found, the reservation will be terminated immediately. The amount of an already paid room will not be refunded.
- The employees of Hotel Veenendaal watch over your safety, the emergency plan comes into effect in case of calamities. You are urged to follow any instructions from the employees.
- Do not leave your belongings unattended at the location of Hotel Veenendaal and in your car. Hotel Veenendaal is not liable for loss, damage or theft of your belongings. Parking in the parking garage or around the hotel/surroundings of Hotel Veenendaal is at your own risk.
- Check-in is possible from 15:00 and check-out must be before 12:00. If you wish to stay longer or if you want a late check-out when booking (up to max. 5:00 PM and only possible on the basis of availability), you must let us know before 12:00 PM. The extension must also be paid for before 12:00, after which we will extend your room pass.
- No more persons may be present per room than the total number of persons for which the room has been booked. If several rooms are booked, these persons may not stay together in one of these rooms.
- Any food or drink left in a checked-out room will be thrown away.
- It is forbidden to smoke in the entire building, including in the rooms. Smoking is also not allowed in the window opening. If you smoke in the room, we charge a fine of €150, which must be paid directly to the reception.
- There are smoke detectors throughout the hotel and in all rooms, these are there for everyone's safety. If it is found that it has been covered, removed or sabotaged in any other way, you must leave the building immediately. The amount of an already paid room will not be refunded.
- Anyone aged 18 or older can reserve a room. At least 1 person in each travel group must be 18 years or older. The person who (also) books a trip for other participants is liable for all others he or she registers. With regard to underage travellers, it must be demonstrated that parents or guardians have given permission. If a traveler is not yet 18 years old, we kindly request that you contact us by telephone.
