Van der Valk Hotel Veenendaal is located directly on the A12 and therefore easily accessible by car. Thanks to its convenient location next to Veenendaal de Klomp station, you can also easily travel to Hotel Veenendaal by train.

By car

If you are a guest at the hotel, using our meeting rooms, or dining at the restaurant of Van der Valk Hotel Veenendaal, you can use our parking garage free of charge.

Directions

  • On the A12, take exit 23. Veenendaal-West.

  • From Utrecht Turn left at the traffic lights at the end of the highway.
    You drive past the McDonald's and then turn right at the traffic lights, this is the Voorpoort which turns into Bastion. At the two roundabouts, you go straight ahead and at the end of the road, turn right following the road.

  • From Arnhem At the end of the highway, go straight ahead. This is the Voorpoort which turns into Bastion. At the two roundabouts, go straight ahead and at the end of the road, turn right following the road.

Electric charging points

Next to Hotel Veenendaal you will find 12 charging points for electric vehicles in the parking lot (including ultra-fast charging). All these charging points are located in the parking lot next to the hotel and are operated by Allego.

By train

The train takes you to Utrecht in 18 minutes, while to Amsterdam it will take you around 45 minutes. Through the NS website, you can plan your route entirely so that you can start your journey without worries. You will get off at Veenendaal de Klomp NS station at the end of your journey. From there, it is only an 8-minute walk to our hotel.

Hiking route description

  • When you get off at platform 1, cross the platform towards the stairs. If you get off at platform 2, go immediately to the left down the stairs.

  • As you walk down the stairs, you will see a sign 'Hotel Veenendaal' with an arrow pointing to the right. Walk past the bicycle racks and cross at the traffic lights.

  • You will then be on Veenendaalseweg, after 150 meters turn right onto Jufferswijk, where you will see another sign 'Hotel Veenendaal' with an arrow pointing to the right.

  • At the end of the road, you will see a sign pointing left for 'Hotel Veenendaal'. You will then see the destination in front of you, after 140 meters you will have reached our hotel.
